Felted wool balls - again :)

Wool balls - again - on request

What do you do with your bits and pieces of wool-yarn?

I save every little pieces of wool yarn and make colorfull balls for the kids to play with:

Balls ;)

I needle felt them a little bit, before I throw them in the washing machine. I use a small net washbag the first time i felt them. After felting in the machine I needle felt them a little bit more (if needed) and let them have another cycle in the washing machine.

Balls ;)

Please ask if you have any questions.

Felted Wool Balls

My felted wool balls from my last post made it to the Craftzine blog, and I've had a lot (!) of people passing by my blog. Lots of fun! Thanks to The Lazy Milliner for making that happen.

I do needle felt the balls before washing, and I use a small net washbag the first time. And I also needle felt a little bit between washing.

Easter hat and SockMadness

My Easter hat is felted and looking great. No stich definition at all:

Hook: 5 mm (H)

SockMadness2 - Sock 2 is the Reversai

Way to many stitches for my skinny legs. I couldn't make them fit, at least not on one foot.

Celtic Tote - again, and more

The Celtic Tote is still not felted. I'm really afraid that it will look like crap after felting....

I've made a small purse of the left over yarn and a pocket inside the tote.

Maybe I'll felt it tonight, if I dare.

These girls are a joy to look at. :)

I hope that you'll have a happy holiday if you are celebrating, and wathever you are celebrating, I hope it's all good.

Me myself are celebrating the earth turning and the promise of more than 3 hours light/sun a day. Finaly!

Thank you so much for all your comments, it means the world to me.

Mine Svorsk/Danske venner:

Tusen takk for alle koselige kommentarer. Jeg er utrolig glad for at jeg har et så godt "nettverk" ute på webben.

Riktig god jul til alle sammen! *klem*
