My baby blanket is done:



Love the result!

Pattern: Two color doily
Yarn: Smart, Sandnesgarn (155 g / 340 yards)
Needles: 6 mm
Size: 1 meter (40 inches)
Ravel it!





The blanket is adopted by my youngest.

This is the first time I've started a project with just the needles.

Curve of Pursuit

After 2 days of weaving in 240 ends



my Curve of Pursuit is finally finished:



Yay!

I've used 1 kg yarn (unknown, wool).

And the blanket is this big:



About 140x140 cm (55x55 inches), but I'm thinking of felting it slightly...

Pattern: Curve of Pursuit by Pat Ashforth and Steve Plummer - Woolly Thoughts.
Yarn: wool
Needles: 6 mm (US 10)
Mods: W&T. Made an I-cord cast off (very nice).
Ravel it!


New on my needles

Socks and a pair of Fetching:



The socks are the same as the last one I made, the Fetching still curl up at the cast-on and cast-off edge, I knew that...


Onward with more knitting!

I'm back

I'm back from a strange weekend of knitting (me) and RC-racing (hubby). The Curve of pursuit is done (all 240 treads are weaved in), a pair of Fetchings are done and I've started on a pair of socks.

But I have no pics to show you....


But if you just are thinking of knitting something: maybe something wearable would be your choice:

Baby blanket

I forgot to show you the first baby blanket I made for the premature knitalong:



I think it is a happy little girly-like blanket. I hope it's needed by some tiny baby somewhere.

It's mostly made in baby wool. 110 sts, garter sts, 110 gram yarn, needles: 4mm (US 6).

Size: 39 x 53 cm (15 x 21 inches).

Stort strikketreff

Nå er det på tide å begynne å gruglede seg! Det er bare et par dager igjen til en hel haug med jenter fra hele landet skal møtes på Gardermoen for å strikke.

Premature knitting

I'm not sure witch side to use as the front side, and I better deside before I start weaving in 1034 treads...

Curve of Pursuit - still in progress

I'm still working on CoP, the first edging is almost done:



I'm using an I-cord bind-off, and it's really slow, but looks great.

Finished projects

I've already showed you my FO's (finished objects).

1. Scarves



I have 20 scarves.


2. Shawls



Only 5. One that I've used, and one that's going to be a gift soon.


3. Bags



12 bags I never use (and 2 seat pads).


4. Afghan



One big tunisian crocheted afghan


There are lots more to show you, socks, hats, doilies and dishcloths, but I'll save that for another day.

Dishcloths - again and CoP progress

I think I have enough dishcloths for a while...



I'll show you all of the dishcloths soon (it's a lot!).

And I'm almost out of gray yarn. Maybe I'll find a similar gray, or maybe I'll use a different color. Like red? hehe

But I'll propably run out of the gray yarn, and I'm not really happy about that. I'll have to think about what to do...

In the spirit of cleaning up the closet I've found all my FO's that are just FO's with no plans. I have a lot of FO's:

I've started a new project: Curve of Pursuit



But I'm not sure that I'm ready for such a big project...

Needles: 4.5 mm

Blue Egeblad

My blue egeblad doily is done.

I think this is a beautiful doily...

yarn: Maxi cotton tread, 50 g (360 yards)

I think this pattern could work well for a blanket, maybe I'll try.
