Hi - I'm back!
I've been spinning, knitting and crocheting all summer, and I think my blog mojo is here too, lets try:
A little bit more about the socks from my last post:
Pattern: My own toe-up, gusset heel socks - love them!
Yarn: Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Silk Color, 1.2 skeins = 261.6 yards (239.2m)
Needle: US 1½ / 2.5 mm
My first buy this year (!):
Black lace weight yarn, over 600 gram:
I better find some shawl patterns I like....
Last September I learned to spin with a drop spindle. I haven't been that eager, but have spun up 100 grams this year, why not buy 700 grams.... (crazy):
And look how far I am in spinning it up:
Yeah....
The wool is bright red, and not easy to take a photo of.
Thank you all for visiting and commenting this summer - I think I'm back :)
