Just enough ruffles

Just enough ruffles for a Saturday evening:

Ruffles scarf

Pattern: Just enough ruffles (Ravelry link)
Needles: US 6 / 4.0 mm
Yarn: Wool/acryl blend (50/50), 1.2 skeins = about 160 yards (144 m)
Mods: none, but I'm not to happy with the result.

Fun to knit. I knitted backwards on the purl rows and didn't make any purl stitches at all. :)

Regional Destash Competition

The members of the Craft forum "Hobbyboden" (Norwegian) is having a regional destash competiton starting this evening. I'm in team Oslo and we are ready to fight (read:knit) of the competitors from the rest of Norway.

I'm ready with heavy yarn and big needles - the competition is judged by weight.

A day on the couch

Wearing my new tights:

Not happy with the pattern (I have problems with Drops patterns every time), but the tights fits me and are warm and nice to wear.

Needles: US 6 / 4.0 mm
Yarn: Sandnes Garn Smart, 7.8 skeins = 845 yards (770 m)
Mods: No ribbing in the sides, but I made a ribbing (k2,p2) before casting of.
