Actually I made two...

I've given up the pattern - I'm on my own.

Denne toppen ville plutselig ikke være en sweetie pie topp lenger. Jeg gikk lei av mønsteret, og bytta til doble staver etter en stund. Nå er jeg ikke sikker på at det blir en topp i det hele tatt. Vi får se...

Recycling socks - Part II

Recycling socks - part two:

The first thing I did was to pick up stitches from the legs:



Then I cut off the "not so good parts":



And then added new yarn - knitted the new heels, foots and toes:



And then, in one evening: new socks - not gloves! ;)

I'm a sock (mis)user...

I wear the thicker socks, not the nice ones I make on needle zero. The thicker ones made with hard, ugly woll/nylon yarn are my favourites.

These were a gift to me (I think):



Great socks, dull and boring to knit, but great to wear. Until:



Almost looks like a glove...

I know I should throw these away, but... there are a perfectly fine pair of legs there..

STASH!

The summer of stash....

I've been organizing my stash....

I have 31 kg of yarn. I have no idea how many yards that is, but I'm sure it's more than "a lot"...




Dette er garn og diverse hobbyting. 31 kg garn... og nok papir til å lage tusenvis av julekort. Jeg har ca. 40 stempler. Jeg har aldri prøvd noen av dem...

Maja, stakkars, er blitt allergisk mot strikkepinnene sine.



Jeg er heldigvis ikke allergisk, og i tillegg veldig glad for påfyll i mitt lager, så i dag har jeg sittet i sola og sortert og ordnet. :)



Ellers kan det lønne seg å besøke den samme jenta. Se hva jeg kom hjem med:
