What do you do with your bits and pieces of wool-yarn?
I save every little pieces of wool yarn and make colorfull balls for the kids to play with:
I needle felt them a little bit, before I throw them in the washing machine. I use a small net washbag the first time i felt them. After felting in the machine I needle felt them a little bit more (if needed) and let them have another cycle in the washing machine.

SvarSlettI am new to felting and I was wondering if you could describe what it means to needle? I understand about making the yarn balls and washing them in a hot cycle, but then you mention needling them for a little bit - little confused what that exactly means?
